Architecture on the Move is a monthly walking tour series exploring the built environment of downtown Des Moines from May through October. Led by local design professionals, each tour offers behind-the-scenes insights into the city’s architecture, history, and evolving urban landscape. Join us to experience familiar streets in a new way and discover the stories behind the buildings.

Eat | Drink | Architecture is an annual guided walking tour through downtown Des Moines that pairs local food and drinks with engaging architectural storytelling. Participants visit multiple venues while exploring the history and design of the East Village, Downtown, and Court Avenue districts with knowledgeable volunteer guides.

The Community Enhancement Awards recognize individuals, organizations, and communities outside the design profession who demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to quality design.
