This two story, 31,300 square foot tenant building was designed in 2002 by Des Moines Architects Wells Kastner Schipper. The biggest challenge to overcome during this project was also its biggest success; that is its compatibility with the remainder of the historic neighborhood and keeping consistent with the detailing used on surrounding buildings. 601 E Locust returns the idea of1890’s storefront buildings.
