The Iowa Architectural Foundation (IAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1989 to promote awareness of the contribution of architecture and community design to the quality of life in Iowa.

The organization is goverened by a 21-member Board of Trustees composed of architects and business leaders statewide.

IAF receives direct financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and architectural firms who believe in the importance of building an understanding of architecture as the most public art.
