Brooks Borg Skiles Architecture-Engineering is an award winning design firm in Des Moines that offers architectural and engineering services for new and existing buildings for corporate, institutional, government and higher education clients. Their firm is a successor firm to the prolific firm started Proudfoot Bird Rawson, which began business in Des Moines in 1896. John Woolson Brooks was a partner for more than forty years, starting in the early 1930’s. He and Joe Borg each paid $2,000 to join the firm in 1932. In 1945 the name was changed to Brooks-Borg and continued as such until 1966, when the name changed to its current iteration.
