Architectural Photography – three session classPrairie School Architecture

Dates: June 3, 10 and 17, 2017 (this skips a week because of Memorial Day weekend)

Meets: Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Location: Iowa Center for Architecture, 400 Locust St., Ste. 100, Des Moines (Capital Square)

Expand your knowledge of architecture through photography. The first session of this popular class will discuss photography basics including composition, lighting, and scale along with examples of architectural photography. The second session features a tour of downtown Des Moines that will allow participants to photograph along the way. This tour may extend beyond the allotted class time as desired by participants. Students will select and print photos for the third session critique. Digital camera required, SLR preferred. No phone cameras, please. Students will need to print up to four 8 x 10 photographs before the third session.

Class meets three Saturdays total (June 3, 10, and 17)
